Identity for a Boutique Hair Salon in Takapuna, Auckland. Gene Cooksley of Oscar&co wanted to create a relaxed, slick and professional atmosphere for his new salon project. As the space had been a salon prior, he wanted to shake it up a bit and do something fresh and edgy. Enter Friends of Design. We approached the brand in much the same way we might go about a fashion retail brand. Taking into account all of the design collateral and signage that it would be used on. The brand has a nice sense of edge to it, and although new, the salons identity feels authentic and crafted.
